Byron Bay is the most eastern point within Australia. Here is a picture of the first place in Australia to see the sunrise every morning...
Here is me flying towards the same piece of land later that morning
Here we are micro-gliding over some dolphins in the ocean. Micro-gliding is like hangliding, except it has an engine in the back. Basically, you get in, take off, and then once you reach about 4,000 feet, they turn off the engine and you just glide down. The benefit of the engine is that you can swoop down low, like here to look at the dolphins, but then can turn the engine back on and go back to the top, whereas with hangliding you just jump off a cliff once and thats it. This guy was a little sketchy because when I asked him where the parachute was he said they don't use parachutes anymore cause it costs too much to maintain them and they were never used. Pretty scary being 4000 feet high with no protection.
Another picture in the air... this is over the cliff where the lighthouse stands...

If mexican food ever becomes popular in Australia, it's because of the fajitas I made this night (not really)... Here we are chopping vegetables for cooking duty at a campsite in the rainforest.
