Here's a picture of Sydney's largest event of the year, the Mardi Gras festival. Some interesting characters show up for this event, including several hundred motorcycles with "dikes on bikes" and a "Cirque du So Gay" circus act.

A night out at Fox Studios with Wendy (a college friend who lives in Sydney), Sylvia (a college friend who was visiting) and some of her friends. Fox Studios is Sydney's version of a mini-Hollywood... Moulin Rouge was filmed here, and Matrix 2 and 3 were being filmed there when I was there. In this photo, we're looking up at the mirror ceilings of City Live on the strip of bars/clubs at Fox Studios.
