here i place links i feel are *important* for you to visit...

Break Reminder is a tiny program for your computer. It runs quietly in the background and will remind you to take breaks when you're working on the computer for a while. It is smart and only counts the time when you're actually working on the computer. This is VERY important for anyone who spends more than an hour on the computer a day. I know lots of people who have hand injuries from working on the computer too much without proper rest breaks (my mom, for example). The breaks also help you rest your eyes. Download it, it's for your health.

Get Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is the best browser you can get. The best thing is that Firefox is *only* a browser...and does a great job at it. It's completely free (no ads, no fee, no commitment). It's wicked fast compared to other browsers and is safe and secure. Switch to it and you'll love it, especially the mouse gestures. (Those who are observant will notice my choice of browser has changed from Opera to Firefox. Opera is still a good choice, but it has a larger memory footprint than I initially thought and has annoying ads in the corner that take up valuable screen real estate.)

Edmunds is the best site to get information before buying a car. And if you're like me, you'll probably check in often just to read about all the new models and their opinions of them. I feel you should never pay more than the edmunds' TMV price listed for a car unless the car is really really really popular and in high demand.
