Federal Reserve Field Trip

Hello ODE!
We would like to invite everyone to visit the Federal Reserve Bank in SF!
The trip to the Fed will be on Wednesday, November 5th, from 9:15am to
noon. The tour will include the following: a continental breakfast, an
overview of Economic Research, a presentation by Dr. Janet Yellen (the
chair of the Federal Reserve), and an overview of the Bank's Talent
Acquisition/Talent Management Department. The event will conclude with a
tour of the Cash Vault and Fed Center.
For more information regarding the tour, please visit the Fed website:
http://www.frbsf.org/federalreserve/tours.html
The Fed is accessible by BART; Berkeley to Embarcadero is $7.60 round
trip, as well as by AC Transit. For those of you who are interested in
traveling in a group, we will meet at the Bart station on Shattuck at
8:30am to make the 8:40am train. Furthermore, there is no official dress
code, but it would be a good idea to dress business casual.
If you are planning on attending the Fed
trip, please RSVP to Monica Shih at monicashih@berkeley.edu by Monday
10/20! We need a headcount ahead of time for the tour.
Thanks and and we hope to see many of you there!
