Ice Breakers: There are always a few activities for us to get energized, relaxed and comfortable. It gives us a chance to get to know each other on a personal note and check-in on our lives.

Updates: Updates from ther steering committee are given, as well as anouncements about the campus community and greater area.

Discussion: During discussion, we get to share out points of view in a safe space to speak about issues that black men deal with daily. We get to propose questions as well as get feedback. Some topics:

• relationships in college, and black love
• uses of the "n" and "b" word
• being political, afrocentricity
• police brutality, the prison industrial complex
• expressing emotion, being a man

Planning: After talking, its always nice to ask ourselves, "Well what are we gonna do about it?" And we do. We talk about action items to bring our words to the next step. Different ideas are presented like events, community service and possible collaboration. Brothers who are particularly passionate about the acting as well as having input on the direction of 100CBM, are welcome to attend the Steering Committee Meetings.
