Being part of the Cast is a huge commitment and comes with a gratifying experience. First off, what is All-Cast? It consists of all-day Saturday and Sunday run through of the entire show with the entire cast. While some All-Casts will be mandatory sit-in to provide feedback for the entire production, other All-Casts will be dedicated to the cleaning and perfecting of specific components of PCN. Expect to make new friends under the Bay Area sun.
Academics, of course, is a priority throughout the processes of 9am-4pm weekend all-cast rehearsals in addition to many weekday rehearsals organized by performance heads.
Feasibles, however, are also necessary for cast members to complete in order to critically engage with the PCN process and the Pilipino Community at Cal.
A community service project, started in PCN 2008, is an additional commitment for the PCN cast, this year we will be spreading awareness about the 2010 Census through a series of Public Service Announcements via our cast. All in all, PCN serves not only a space for performance and exploration of culture, it is also an enriching space for personal growth and development.
