What are Feasibles?

Feasibles are fun, easy, and doable.  Created in 2009 to re-envision “PCN Basics” that were used to encourage community members to get involved with the Pilipino Community and the PCN Process.

Every cast member must complete a total of three feasibles and accompanying reflections, one in each of three categories.  You must have one feasible completed by March 1, the second by April 1, and the final by April 16.These activities are specifically chosen to help participants critically engage themselves in the PCN process.  What this means is that we want everyone to really delve into some aspect of PCN, whether that be learning about an issue a skit brings up, getting involved with another component, or going out into the community and attending another culture show!

To make what counts as a feasible easier to understand, we broke them down into three categories.  However, many of these activities fall under several categories.  When you write your reflections, simply explain how it relates to each category.  If you have questions about what counts as a feasible or if you have an idea of an alternative feasible, please contact the Community or Feasible heads at paa.com@gmail.com or paa.chief@gmail.com.  The following running list of Feasibles will also be available here on this blog and GoogleDocs. Once you complete each activity, you will then blog about your experience HERE!

So to put it simply …

How to Complete Your Feasibles:

1. Do one feasible for each category: Develop. Unify. Educate.

2. Get the point person for each feasible to sign your slip of paper

3. Post your reflection on this blog

4. Turn in your finalized slip to PAA Chiefs of Staff Maritess Aristorenas and Julie Caoili

First Feasible Due: March 1

Second Feasible Due: April 1

Third Feasible Due: April 16

It’s so fun, easy, and doable! And if you complete all your feasibles, you get a $3 discount on your PCN After PAArty ticket. Yeeee!
