Why did you decide to join PAHC?
I initially joined PAHC because I needed help with my science and
math classes. They provided the support I needed to do well in school.
By getting more involved I learned how much PAHC positively affects
the community on and off campus. But more importantly PAHC became my
family away from home. Since joining, my most memorable moments during
my college years have came from PAHC.
As a core member, what skills or knowledge can you contribute to PAHC’s Internship Program ?
As the executive coordinator, I am responsible for the organization
and its programs. I help facilitate the programs that are coordinated
by different core members and I make sure everything runs as smooth as
possible. I also work with other health and Pilipino organizations on
campus. By interning, you would learn excellent time management,
organizational, leadership and social skills. Also learn a little bit
about each component.
Personally I am an easy-going person that likes to help others pursue
their goals. I’m happy to share my experiences and insights on any
subject.
What do you like to do on your free time?
Generally I like to just hang out and relax. I like going out to the
movie theaters but I also don’t mind staying in and renting a good
movie. When I’m really bored and want to get out, I would just go to
the gym. I would either play basketball or something. I am a big
sports fan, so I could talk/play about almost any sport. I also have
a big sweet tooth, so I’m always up for getting ice cream or frozen
yogurt.
