Why did you decide to join PAHC?
I decided to join PAHC with hopes of learning more about the different aspects to the health field. Plus, the people involved really made me feel welcome. They were just as motivated as I was toward similar goals. I also wanted to gain some perspective on the common issues that affect my own community because I was really unaware previously. It is safe to say that some of my closest friends, I made through PAHC. I definitely have learned a lot, but there is definitely more to learn from you!
As a core member, what skills or knowledge can you contribute to PAHC’s Internship Program ?
As Finance co-coordinator, I have a shared knowledge of the internal aspects of the organization. We deal with the budget and monetary allocations for events. A big chunk of the organization’s funds come from the planning and management of fundraisers. Finance also works closely with the ASUC. With this position, I intend to strengthen interns’ organizational and time management skills, as well as helping them with their own budget. And aside from the finance aspect, I consider myself a fun loving person with a sense of humor. I’m definitely up for meeting up with members to talk about anything! Lets stretch that DOLLAR DOLLAR BILL ya’ll! =P
What do you like to do on your free time?
Whenever I get the chance to relax, I like to go out and do random stuff. It ranges from doing the active stuff like running, playing volleyball, or any other sport to just chilling at my apartment. I like to cook and bake, and I usually watch a lot of Food Network – which is where I get a lot of ideas for what I make. I hang out with friends or nap whenever I can. I’m a bit of an explorer and love going out to places I’ve never been. But free time is a rare thing for me, so… I try to live it up when I do have it.

Why did you decide to join PAHC?
I first joined PAHC because I wanted to get involved on campus and at the
same time, serve my community. To me, PAHC serves as a support group
because everyone in it is willing to help each other out, whether it
being help with homework, guidance on class scheduling, or advice for any
problem, PAHC is there for you like family. All of the members are
determined to succeed in the health work field and I find that PAHC will
help me fulfill my goals. Also, as an organization, we give back to
those in need and we outreach to our community.
As a core member, what skills or knowledge can you contribute to PAHC’s Internship Program ?
My responsibilities as Finance Co-coordinator include planning out
fundraisers, maintaining our budget, completing paperwork, and handling
reimbursements. As the external component of finance, I am in charge of
the mid-year/end of the year budget report that will be submitted to the
ASUC.
Finance interns will be develop leadership skills such as being
organized, help with fundraisers, and be involved with completing
paperwork. Also, interns will be able to enhance their professional
skills by approaching ASUC members, other organizations on campus, and
various businesses.
What do you like to do on your free time?
With my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends,
watching movies, listening to music, and occasionally read a good book.
I also like to go to concerts, poetry readings, and parties. Come chill
with me!
