Why did you decide to join PAHC?
I wanted to join PAHC because I felt that being part of a group of people who shared the common interest of pursuing a career in health would benefit me in college. I felt that this environment would motivate me to not lose sight of what I hope to become, a physical therapist. As an added bonus I’ve met a great group of people who I don’t consider just my friends, but rather, my PAHC family.
As a core member, what skills or knowledge can you contribute to PAHC’s Internship Program ?
As Media Coordinator, I deal a lot with the internal workings of PAHC. I manage the main website, the PAHCspace googlesite, and Twitter account. I create visual aids for meetings, design online forms for various PAHC necessities, and deal with the technological aspects of our meetings. Based on my duties, I am able to help interns be able to learn problem solving techniques, organizational skills, personal relations, and also help exercise your creativity.*
In general, I’m a chill person to be around and would love to share my experience in various aspects of Cal (classes, greek life, etc). I don’t have the answer to every single question you may have, but I’m pretty sure I can point you to someone who will have the answer to it!
*When thinking about applying to be a Media intern, THERE’S NO EXPRERIENCE NECESSARY!!*
What do you like to do on your free time?
I tend to just sleep whenever I have the time, but on a not-so-lazy day you can find me surfing the net, watching movies/music videos, making videos, or cooking. (Haha, still couch potato-like activities…) Of course these are just things on top of the usual activity of hanging out with friends. I tend to play sports rather than watch it (Still need to learn to play certain sports.), I love throwing a frisbee around, and I attempt to go on the occassional trip to the gym.
