Why did you decide to join PAHC?
I decided to join PAHC because I thought they would be the support and community I needed in college. PAHC gives me the advice and tools I need to succeed in my academics, while making new friends and having tons of fun. The thing I love about PAHC is that they genuinely care about their members <3
As a core member, what skills or knowledge can you contribute to PAHC’s Internship Program ?
As Co-Vice Coordinator, I deal with a lot of organizing and networking with the Pil-community and other medical organizations in our local community. Vice contributes to both the internal and external workings of PAHC which allows us to develop and utilize a variety of skills. Because of that I am able to assist interns in developing their leadership, event planning, and networking skills.
What do you like to do on your free time?
In my spare time I enjoy trying new restaurants and watching movies. I love catching up with old friends and new friends over food. I enjoy taking naps, sight seeing, and going shopping (I have too many bags and shoes, but buy them anyway). When I’m not too burnt out from school, I like reading for fun and playing tennis

Why did you decide to join PAHC?
During my first year of college, I initially joined PAHC to answer this question: How do I survive Berkeley as a pre-med student? Because of PAHC, that question has been answered, in addition to having loving, outgoing, and smart friends that help keep my stress levels low. =] PAHC has been my support system throughout my college career, and with PAHC people to turn to, I had the great experiences of my life (not to mention the most FUN experiences!)
As a core member, what skills or knowledge can you contribute to PAHC’s Internship Program ?
As co-Vice Coordinator of PAHC, I help manage the internship program, coordinate intern activities (i.e.Core-Intern gatherings, UCSF PUSO Undergraduate Recruitment Day, shadow days), and deal with internal and external relations in and outside the Pilipino community. The internship program keeps PAHC alive, and that is why the Vice coordinators take a significant role in providing resources for the interns with the help of other Core members. I am a happy, social person and I love to get to know people, and give advice when anyone needs it. As co-Vice Coordinator, I am here to support, listen, and help with improving professionalism, student-ism, organization, and leadership skills.
What do you like to do on your free time?
On my free time, I love to dance and sing depending on where I am at. =) I usually eat (A LOT) which includes Honey Nut Cheerios in the a.m., and Filipino food in the p.m. when I am at home sweet home. I watch re-run FRIENDS and Sex In The City episodes on TV and watch new movies that just come out. I love hanging out with my friends since being alone for too long is… lonely. I also like to go shopping when I have the money to do so. If not, I may spend money on the dollar menu at McDonalds. There is a lot more time in a day, but I believe my main activity may be to sleep.
