Minorities in Health Conference
One of PAHC’s main spring events is our Minorities in Health Conference which is a collaborative event with the Black Students in Health Association and the Chicanos/Latinos in Health Education.
This is our opportunity to build a coalition among minorities who share in the same struggle to succeed in the health field. Hosting such an event is especially critical at this time when the population of minorities fails to represent the population of minority health care providers.
By providing participants with a variety of resources, workshops, panels, and activities we hope to give students the means by which to motivate them toward higher education and ultimately careers in health.
