The girl’s definitely stepped it up in tonight’s game, with only three of them able to play (Candice, Chelsea, and Precious) they worked that back AND front. Great job ladies! Big ups to Chris tonight for having some unstoppable serves, he just makes it look so EASY! In addition, Sid and Kenny switched it up, giving Kenny some play time in the front in a little bit, revealing that hey, they can play both positions.

Chelsea Largoza and Chris Gotianun stepped up this week as setters due to the absence of regular setter, Candice Marquez. Mona Layug had numerous spikes and definitely all over the court, Chad Zulueta had ridiculous blocks, and Chris Gotianun finished the game with his serves. And of course to the rest of the team great work as well!!!

Game 1 of the Fall ’09 IM Volleyball season sure was a tough game for all players of PAHCtastic, the newcomers and returnees. The first set was definitely our practice round, in an attempt to figure out rotations as well as getting a feel for the court. The competition was pretty tough going into our first game. However, we did pull through all of this, and even though our score for the first set was higher than our second by a point, it was definitely a lot smoother and less chaotic on the court in the second set; even with a few rotation errors.
Although we didn’t win, we reached our ultimate goal of having FUN!!! and no trolling will occur tonight.. Albert Ayson and Rosauro Hernandez did a great job with blocking; Jesi Marquez was on the ball with her sets; Ica Diaz and J.P. Quiocho had some good kills; Anthony Trinidad, Ed Elchico, Marielle De Passion were on top of their passing game; and Jewison Biscochio, Laarni Francia, and Melissa Rombaoa did an awesome job starting fresh this season. Overall, it was a really great game for all players with many great plays. Also, a big shout to all those that came out to watch our first volleyball game, we appreciate all the support!!!
