Hinduism in the US and in Sri Lanka
I was raised in the Hindu religion. I grew up in the United States and my parents were
born and raised in Sri Lanka. Hinduism is not the most popular religion in either of those two countries. Hindus currently make up
only 1% of the United States' population and
12.6% of Sri Lanka's population.
On the other hand, Hindus make up 79.8% of India's population!
