Tell Us About Your Position
Public Relations Coordinators have been known for their contributions in aspects such as resource materials, the website, and other forms of media. I'm hoping to work in the same vein but also serve as a voice for PASS to reach out to other students within and outside of the Pilipin@ community and greater UC Berkeley campus. I'm also hoping that I help record and maintain PASS history in an effective way that will be managable for future generations of PASS.
What is your most memorable experience in PASS?
There's plenty of memorable moments that I'd like to mention, but if I'd really have to choose, it would probably be when I was outreaching on my own for the first time at Reseda High School. I was nervous realizing that I'd have to outreach solo, but it was the push I needed. I realized what had been holding me back wasn't my nervousness infront of the students that I was outreaching to, but my self-conciousness around well-seasoned outreachers. The classes I outreached to were amazing and I felt really honored that they spared me their time and attention that day. I hope somehow I was helpful. SoCal outreach served as a great reminder of why I want to continue the work that I do in PASS.

Umm...it's kind of hard for me to choose since I haven't eaten everywhere I'd like to try yet. If I had to choose my current obssession, it'd be Joshu-ya Sushi.

Three Interesting Facts About You
1. I used to be a singer for a rockband that was featured on ABC 7 and KTSF once. (Don't ask me about it though, we split like many bands do!)
2. Whenever I have a rare amount of free time, I love indulging in my video-gaming habits. I seriously enjoy watching Street Fight IV and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournaments with my boyfriend. I also have an unhealthy amount of hours clocked in for all of my games, no lie. *cough 100 hours for most games cough* I also enjoy listening to many of their soundtracks.
3. I love cats, which is yet another unhealthy obsession of mine. I have three of mine own that I love coming home to when I have the chance to and I enjoy spending most of my free time indulging my little fatties with toys, treats, and massages. There's a 200% chance I'm going to end up a cat lady when I'm older (but most likely not alone!)
