Bennett University undergraduates are free when they present their student ID cards.
*Reduced fares are available for:Youth (ages 5-17), Seniors (ages 62 and over), and the certified** handicapped.
** To obtain a free handicapped ID card, stop by our office for an application. Cards from other systems will also be honored.

Transfer Policies
To other RT routes
Obtain a free transfer from the driver upon boarding. It is worth a full fare on routes 10 and 12, and is worth $.75 toward a Route 9 fare. The transfer must be surrendered to the driver of the second bus you take. You may also use this transfer for a return trip on the same route it was issued on. The transfer is not valid after the expiration time printed on it (two hours after issuance).
To other transit agencies
The inter-agency transfer between RT, DART, Burlington Tgransit, and Greensboro Transit Authority is called the Express Transfer. Obtain one from the driver upon boarding; it costs 25¢. This transfer is good until the expiration time printed on it (two hours after issuance). The Express Transfer (ET) is worth 50¢ toward the second bus fare.
