Welcome to PMHS!

The Pre-Medical Honor Society is a student organization in which serious pre-medical students who have achieved academic excellence can further their understanding of the study and practice of medicine through open forums, medical school seminars, and research/clinical internships. We are the only pre-medical organization directly sponsored by the College of Letters and Science on campus.

Student Services

PMHS provides a testbank of past exams and review problems to assist students in their preparation for midterms and finals. PMHS also has essential books that many pre-medical students find helpful. PMHS members can check them out as resources.

Medical School Preparation

PMHS has strong ties with medical schools across California. Our alumni attend medical schools ranging from UCSF to Johns Hopkins. Each semester we offer trips to UCSF, UC Davis, and the Stanford University Hospital. Additionally, we hold info sessions and officer panels where members are able to familiarize themselves with various aspects of pre-medical life.

Membership

Membership in PMHS is extended to undergraduates with a GPA of 3.70 or greater regardless of major. Additional membership requirements can be found at: how to apply.
