The San Francisco Food Bank's mission is to end hunger in San Francisco. It works toward that goal by distributing food and advocating for improvement in government food programs and policies. A nationwide network of suppliers allows the Food Bank to turn each dollar donated into $9 of non-perishable groceries, fresh produce, bread, and meat for the community. The Food Bank supplies food to more than 450 nonprofit antihunger programs -- from senior centers and after-school programs to soup kitchens -- reaching tens of thousands of individuals each month. This year, the Food Bank will distribute 25 million pounds of food -- enough to provide more than 53,000 meals to hungry San Franciscans every day. San Francisco Food Bank

UniversityChic.com is an online magazine written for and by university women across the nation. Members are able to find out about the latest campus trends, learn how to get into grad school, network with other college women, and even have their own feature stories published online.
PR@Cal is working with the UChic PR department to spread its message to college campuses across the nation. Since University Chic is a national magazine based on the East Coast, its PR@Cal project team is targeting not only local publications, but national media outlets as well. Our goals are to help UChic increase its membership, and to promote a positive reputation to high school and college women in America.
