Established in 1901
The Prytanean Global Health Initiative was established to unite the interests of San Francisco Bay Area community with the needs of health care causes in developing nations. Our cornerstone event, the Prytanean Global Health Benefit, is an art competition featuring pieces by local high school and university-level students designed to represent the theme “Issues in Global Health.” Our current beneficiary project is the construction of the Nepal's first Western-style rural trauma center, the Alive Hospital and Trauma Center in Chitwan, Nepal.
