Substitute Teachers:

Congratulations! If your name appears below, you've joined our group of permanent and semi-permanent substitute teachers! What does that mean? Nope, you're not at the beck and call of irresponsible teachers who decided to ditch their class one day. (If only they were so lucky...) It means that you haven't been assigned a site yet, we're finding you a site, your available times were already filled but we'd like to keep you on and still give you credit, or you can't teach permanently this semester but you still wanted to remain an active teacher. If you have any questions, just fire us off an email to ptps.berkeley@gmail.com.

Otherwise, here's how the system works. If you're ever in need of a substitute--for whatever reason at all, call or email your subject coordinator and he or she will find one for you. Or you can find your contact sheet and call or email a sub of your choice personally. If you go for that route, be sure to let the appropriate coordinators know what's happening.
