We are glad to see your interest in joining Pi Tau Sigma! The pledging process is filled with events spread throughout the semester and ends with initiation. Hopefully, it will be a fun experience and we are looking forward to meeting each and every one of you.
Current Pledges
Pi Tau Sigma, being the Mechanical Engineering Honor Society, is open only to Mechanical Engineers. Only Juniors in the top fourth of their class and Seniors in the top third of their class (as determined by GPA and units) will be eligible for membership to Pi Tau Sigma.
How Do I Join?About the 5th week into each semester, eligible pledge candidates are contacted through email and/or regular mail. By the time you receive the pledge packets, you should have an account ready for you. If this has not happened, please contact the web design officer.
This is the 6th version of the ΠΤΣ website. The current web designers are Kevin Ma and Scott Chung. If you are interested in the web design position or any other ΠΤΣ officer position, elections are held at the end of every semester!
This website is hosted by the Open Computing Facility (OCF). The OCF is an all-volunteer, student-run, student-initiated service group dedicated to free computing for all University of California at Berkeley students, faculty, and staff.
