Congratulations to the "Maryland A" team which won the Terrapin Invitational Tournament, held on November 5 and 6. The team consisted of Dave Hamilton, Julie Singer, Mark Tervakoski, Andy Hu, and Alvin Wang. Congratulations also to the Chicago team who took second place -- Andrew, Alice, Ryan, and "John Sheahan." Following below are the official (as far as I'm concerned) standings. Thanks to the team's inability to arrange for a macintosh to be had at the tournament, we had no stat program to utilize: this is why the circle of death for fifth place is unresolved, and why I have not completed individual stats for the vast majority of players. By the way, Who Wants to be a Dinosaur? and Insert Random Name Here were both ineligible to win the tournament, however, games against them did count in other teams' records. For the record, as Tournament Director, I announced that playoffs would take place only if there was a tie for first place after the full Round Robin, which did not occur. Thanks also go to John Nam and Jessie Stevens for editing questions, and to everyone who helped them. Thanks to Shaun Hayeslip, who not only won the neg title with 27, but led around Maryland B with many players who had never played in an ACF tournament, if they had played in any tournaments at all.
