First Eco-chat Stimulates Environmental Discussion, but Informally

Students and administrators got a taste of environmental discourse at the new Crossroads Dining Commons tonight at the first Eco-chat. With administrative support from Lisa Bauer, Campus Recycling Manager, and Michael Laux, Dining Manager, student recycling coordinators have initiated an innovative way to serve environmental thought to their peers.

Eco-chats are designed to be informal discussions about a broad range of environmental issues. Topics are not mandated, and students are welcome to come and go as they please. This new program aims to make environmentalism more accessible to residents interested in or curious about such issues.
