Applications are due on September 10th at midnight.

PLEASE READ: If you are interested in being an RSEC(volunteer), just answer the first question. If you are interested in Unit RSEC (a paid position, one per unit), answer both questions AND send a resume to cal_ssec@yahoo.com. Unit RSEC applications MUST be complete with a resume and application to be considered. Thanks for your interest and good luck!

Please limit each of the two responses to 250 words.
What qualities do you posess that would make you a successful RSEC? What improvements do you suggest in order to make sustainability education in the residence halls better? What are some ways to increase student awareness about sustainability? Bonus points for putting something down you'd legitimately be willing to do.
Suppose you were to design and execute an end-of-the-year project to coordinate , such as a trash art contest, used reader/notebook drive, or organic garden. We would provide you with all the materials needed and the key people to contact for permission to execute the project and for additional assistance. What would your program be? How would you execute this program? What are your strategies to make this program successful (i.e. outreach, coordination with other groups, incentives, etc.)? Also, if you are not chosen for the Unit RSEC position, would you still be interested in the RSEC position? (Remember to send your resume!)
