Spring 2006 4/5: A Links page is now up, where you can find easy links to other relevant and useful web sites. 3/23: Get to know us by checking out the new profiles (pics + info) on our ExComm page! 3/8: Our publicity coordinator invites everyone to join our Facebook group! This is a great way to meet other members of our student organization, past and present, and to view upcoming events. 3/6: Please note that the deposit for the CPR/First Aid class is now due at 2pm 3/9. If you haven't mailed the check off by now, you can drop it off at our office hours, 10am-2pm in 510 Eshleman. 3/5: The pop-up that you might be blocking is the flyer for this month's general meeting. Check it. :) 3/2: New photos available! Also, photos now accessible via a link on the menu to the left. Frames layout has been altered - please give feedback. 2/27: ExComm picture updated. 2/23: Page widths now should be uniform. ExComm page slightly changed. 2/20: Picture on home page updated. About Us page has been updated with basic club information. 2/16: Please note the the webmaster's internet has often been down for the past couple weeks, so updates may be a little slow. Thanks! 2/2: New volunteers: please stop by our office hours (Wed and Thurs 10-2) to pick up volunteer info packets! Read the Volunteer Now page for more info. Contact info of some previous ExComm members has been removed from pages. 1/29: Four new files uploaded. Minutes from the first general meeting are available here. Please download the February calendar of events as well. Finally, check "Blood Services" on the Events page for two versions of the calendar of confirmed blood drives for this semester. Format updates: I removed borders from a few tables on pages. I am aware of a vast disparity in page width among the pages on this site, and I plan to correct it shortly. 1/26: Thanks to everyone who attended the first general meeting! Minutes will be available on this web site soon in case you didn't make it. Also, the events page has been updated, and more info will become available as the semester goes on. Check it regularly. 1/18: Spring Semester has begun, and we hope that your classes are going well! Updates on events will be posted as they become available. For now, we invite you to our general meeting (see above). Expect food, (in)formation, and fun! Fall 2005 11/30: The Hurricane Relief Coalition has officially ended its weekly Monday meetings. See Events page for info on fundraising results. 11/27: Make sure to turn in volunteer hours and RSVP for our Volunteer Recognition Dinner. For info on that, or if you still need hours or otherwise want to help, go to the Events page. 11/9: A few tweaks to the site layout have been made. Thanks to Lynn for the feedback! Also, this page should now say when the Events page has last been updated. 10/23: All events have now been moved to the Events page. They are organized by line of service, with a separate category for Hurricane Relief Coalition events. Events and CPR / First Aid pages have been updated. Slight content update on DeCal. Formatting edit to Lines of Service. 10/17: Since the majority of people do not use an e-mail application such as Outlook, the ExComm page now lists the e-mail addresses of all ExComm members. Hopefully, this will be more convenient than opening or copying the links. Also, Events are now listed above News. 9/30: All volunteers who have taken orientation: please sign up to canteen at the upcoming blood drive! It will take place Mon. Oct 3rd and Tues. Oct 4th in the East Pauley Ballroom (2nd floor, MLK Student Union). Read the list of available shifts here. To sign up for a shift, e-mail Justin Hong, Blood Services Coordinator, at justing@berkeley.edu. Even if you're not a volunteer, please make sure to donate blood! Schedule online at www.BeADonor.com (sponsor code: UCB) or at the Circle K (drive sponsor) table on Sproul. Cal Katrina Relief coalition meetings are now 5-6 PM, Mondays, ASUC Senate Chambers. 9/23: Make sure to keep up on our events! A slew of them have been added below. Lines of Service and ExComm pages updated. 9/08: Interested in helping to organize a campus-wide hurricane relief effort? The Hurricane Katrina Relief Coalition is currently organizing! ARC @ Cal is only one of many student organizations that we hope will join this effort. Meetings will be from 5-7 pm at the ASUC Senate Chambers and will continue for several weeks. Please come if you're part of a student group that's not represented or if you just have great ideas and/or contacts. 9/04/05: We will be tabling all this week (Tues. to Fri.) from 11-3PM on Upper Sproul. Please come and donate anything you can spare. We will be raising money for the Katrina Relief Fund and for the National Disaster Relief Fund. Donations to the latter help both victims of Katrina and victims of any future potential disasters (especially the thousands of house fires that happen each year). All or most sections of the web site have been revised for the Fall 2005 semester. |
