Nah, just because the discussion doesn't look like it'll end, and it's just between Kami and the mods. All that needs to be kept in mind is: common sense.

pss I think the checkmate thing is funny. It's not like you've worked us into any logical corner xDDD And the effect wears off if you say it all the time xDD

@zaku calling a false checkmate actually causes you to lose by some sets of chess rules O_o

also i'd like to say here, the only thing that matters as far as what is fair and unfair is determined by the rules and procedures that are carried out for each and every individual on the site. I have checked that my rules and procedures are acceptable with this sites administrator on numerous occasions. My actions are supported by the many of the active members of the site and are within reason. I don't understand what you're trying to prove except that you have too much free time on your hands, because i can see zero validity to your arguement at the moment. I think a better thing to put at the end of your post is check. You haven't proven anything incriminating to the moderators and admin of this site.

I've posted my definate procedure for bans and actions take against rule infractions. I've posted forum rules and reminders of what is and isn't acceptable. If you have any doubts about how the rules on this site run/work i'd ask that you go back and review the posts. If you need any further explanation of anything send and email or private message.

I will admit as kami had that there were holes in mod to mod communication. We have and will continue to improve it as it is a very important part of properly taking action against rule infractions. I welcome any other mods to write up rules and procedures. Send them out and get them noticed! We also welcome any and all of our members to make suggestions about how to better our procedures. Have an issue? Contact any one of us! If we like your idea or feel that your arguement has validity to it, we'll be more than happy to revise how things are run. I can't stress enough how important it is that the community is actively involved with their leadership. Ap is for the people by the people.

btw zaku: From what i've gathered, as of right now, there is NO ONE on the site that fully supports your cause. I've even witnessed an instance now where someone has told you to stop. Other members of the site feel that the rules are very very reasonable. Simple observation shows that its always the same people who end up getting the banhammer. The rules are easy to follow and they can be revised. If you have too much trouble following them, then maybe this isn't the right place for you. (sorry if me and kip sound like broken records) A simple courtesy email or pm would be nice if you have an issue, you atleast owe us that before twisting the truth and publicly making an unreasonable argument "for the community" that they don't even agree with. A martyr is someone who takes the dive for a cause, you zaku are no martyr. "Checkmate"

Although, Pocky has been actively been trying to get more bloggers... but as you can see with the blog... not everyone wants that sort of responsibility...

yes...yes threads like this would be out of business. Thats the point. We don't wouldn't need threads like this if everyone had taken the proper channels instead of spamming this all over the ap world news.


Also zaku's arguement is very simple. Mods shouldn't exist in his mind. If they did exist they should bend to every will that he has. Zaku doesn't want just more control by the people, he wants no rules to exist whatsoever. His anger is misplaced with the moderators. His problem is that rules exist. He may tell you otherwise, but if there were no rules at all, we wouldn't be having this problem would we?

That may sound like i support a site with no rules, the fact is that i don't. Pocky has made a concious effort and choice to create a set of rules to govern what is and isn't acceptable on this site, so that anyone that is over the age of 13 can properly enjoy it. Even as an 18 year old, i am sometimes disturbed by the things i see posted. This is why i made the choice to become a moderator. Everyone's view of what is and isn't acceptable is different. This means, to me at least and the administrator of this site, that we will filter out the things that people under a certain age will not enjoy to make sure that these members are kept happy. If you absolutely must break the rules of anipock, i ask you do it elsewhere. I am a firm believer that there is a time and place for everything. If you want to cuss up a storm and post pornographic images, go to a site that endorses it. I'm not advocating porn sites by any means here, but anipock is NOT the place to do these things. One day, i'd hope that this site wouldn't even need moderators, because everyone could follow the rules without someone having to (in zaku's words)"play cop". That day doesn't seem like it will come though, or at least not any time in the very near future, because the truth is that there are spammers and people that take things too far past the realm of pg-13. Remember that even though the rules state that the site's rating is pg-13, there are members younger than 13. A 10 or 11 year old might be able to handle something rated pg-13, but when images or language is posted that is at the R rating or Worse, it seems that the parts of the community that post these things have a glorious lack of responsiblity. Moderators are here to take care of that, so that the less responsible members of this community don't destroy the clean, pg-13 reputation of this site that the more responsible members helped build.

Wow, Bomb is actually saying smart things for once. I appreciate how much you love me bomb, and love to make me out to be the bad guy, but lets face it...you know I'm right, and would love to see everything follow what I'm saying because it would keep many in line, and then you wouldn't have such a great opponent such as myself. If we didn't have you "rent-a-cops" running around and passing judgments, maybe we'd all behave. Think about it this way, this is a highly relevant point; Peace in general is hard to attain because people can't be forced to like each other, and thus people are forced. So it's the same with us, you're forcing us to comply and as human beings we will revolt. The point stands that some of us will deviate from the rules, but in all honesty, who is perfect? Humanity is meant to make mistakes and be either the good, or the necessary evil.

Bomb, I'd like you to ask yourself why I do this, and why I call myself a martyr. You obviously don't understand a thing I'm doing, and yet you think you have the right to tell me what I'm not? Maybe I was right with what I said about you.

Moving on to the map Pocky posted. If you look it's got some rather profane language, and on top of that some pretty bad sexual references. Now now Pocky, you want everyone to comply to YOUR rules, and yet you make it fine for you to do this? Tsk tsk, set a good example.

Now back to Bomb, all you've done is say everything you've already said over and over, if you're going to make your point, MAKE IT ALREADY. I've made my point, I want you and the rest of your rent-a-cop friends to get rid of your powers and start dealing with real issues. For instance Pocky's map...you ban us and remove our stuff, but this map is fine? I think this is it for now.
