For experimentation purposes, mostly.

Here I make the font size bigger.

Or I can change the font size AND the color! Ho ho!

Or if I want I can just change ONE word

They said something about aligning text but you need the P tag.

But what if you want to center more than one paragraph? Well, let's try it.
Here there be another paragraph! Just for fun.
And yet another one! Does the centering still work?
Hmmm....

At this point the centering should end...

No, it doesn't work if you have multiple paragraphs. But with multiple BRs as above, it does.

Let's combine size, color AND alignment! Hooyah!

This line used to have a mailto for my email, but jerjou said it would make spammers really happy, so I took it off.

Let's add some images. This is a hummingbird I snapped a photo of in Berkeley:

I can also turn a picture into a link. This will take you to my homepage.

But what's that nasty border? Let's fix that by making the border = 0.

Aha!

Now I try to align the image right but have one line of text at the center of the image.

But I don't know how to make the text come out of the LEFT of the picture.

So if I do the align = right, this text right here ought to be wrapping around the picture of the hummingbird, which is aligned to the right. This image manipulation stuff is a little more complicated than the previous ones... but hey, I'm just starting so that's not saying much, right? Let's add one more sentence here, just to make the text a little longer.

Anything at this point and beyond should skip to below the picture.

*fiddles around*

This HR should go all the way across.

This one should go 60% across. The percentage is relative to the width of the entire page.

I'm going to play with image dimensions. The gamecube logo is conveniently small so I'll use that.

Here it is 30x30 pixels:

And here it is 100x60, where 100 is the width and 60 the height.

As you can see, this page has a background, too.

And there you have it!
