This is the meat of my powered skeleton system. The vistigial motor is only symbolic for a rotational power source of some sort.

This shows some of the range of motion of the system and illustrates the optimal torque ranges of the cable control system.

Here the Spoolling system is shown to give an idea of the system's inner workings.

This helical ratchet clutch engages in only one direction with only 3 moving parts

These are the inner workings of our powered prosthetic knee.

The double clutch also allows nearly instantaneous sequential gear shifts.

This transmission runs each of the three gear combinations forwards and backwards in order to utilize each primary gear ratio and it's reciprical. The dual clutch system allows almost instantaneous sequential shifts.

Here you can see the planetary gear arrangment that allows the gears to reverse their drive direction.
