Site History

This was my first attempt at making a website, although this site never actually got released to the public. Armed only with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Paint, and no experience, I thought the site turned out pretty good for my first attempt.

Armed with some better tools (FrontPage), my second attempt at creating a website turned out much better. This site was actually viewable by the public thanks to Geocites. Looking back, however, I have to say that the site just yelled amateur. Luckly for me, an amateur was what I was.

Version three of my site finally began to look good (Thanks in large part to StarWars.com). In addition to the design seen here, several completely different designs were also created to separate the different parts of the site. Ironically, with this version of the site, I took a step backword with the tools I use. Go Notepad!

This incarnation of the site remains largely the same as the last. The homepage and several other pages got complete makeovers. However, the different sub-sites have retain their design.

The homepage for next version of the site changed a little because I wanted the freedom to do a bit more with the homepage. The rest of the site also got more uniform. The different section had the same layout but different color scheme.

For the first time in several years, I have completely rewritten and redesigned the entire site. In a bad attempt to stay up with current trends, I started doing a blog-like frontpage for my updates and rants. The design of the site was influenced a lot by Web 2.0 design effects.
