Ride a sweet bike around town instead of using a gas-guzzling car for short trips.

to walk home from work instead of drive
to make an intentional effort to turn off lights and electricity
to not use plastic bags or plastic silverware
to use cloth bags instead of plastic grocery bags
to not eat meat

I pledge to get paper bags when shopping, if I go over my cloth bag liimit.

I pledge to take the train into the city when traveling alone.

I pledge to install a programmable thermostat, and to bring utensils, mug, tupperware with me as I eat away from home to use less plastic.

I pledge to use my own grocery bags, unplug appliances when not in use, recycle at home, and have my kids ride the bus instead of driving them to school

Turn a light off when I leave a room.

To use less chemicals. Use more environmentally friendly products ( many of which I will make myself,such as laundry detergant). I will continue to use vinegar and a tiny amount of liquid dish soap instead of commercial dishwasher detergant.

Take quick showers and turn water off while soaping

Never let food spoil, or don't buy perishable food that I won't eat.

Buy fresh fruits/veggies instead of frozen
