As a member of the Ski and Snowboard Team at Berkeley (formally known as California Ski Team), you will have access to incredible deals on equipment. We work with a racing shop in Truckee, CA as well as several company representatives to secure the best racing equipment on the market for the best price available to consumers. These deals include discount prices on new skis, poles, boots, clothing and miscellaneous race equipment.
The ski team is also an excellent resource for used gear. Our top racers cycle through equipment and are often looking to unload a lightly used pair of skis, boots, etc.
Loaning of equipment is acceptable between team members, but the borrower must accept full responsibility for loss or damages when using another's gear. This helps alleviate blame and disputes.
In addition to the racing products, we can also get sweet deals on freeride equipment, softgoods and accessories. The team also owns a wealth of ski gear including pole guards and padded suits. These are available on a grab for the day basis.
