About Us
Founded in 1983, the SLC was established to help educate the Berkeley community about available legal options. Today, the clinic continues with this tradition. Interns provide fully researched case reports to clients in search of legal aid. Clients can drop by the office Monday-Friday to obtain assistance from the dedicated interns. Besides offering help to the community, however, the SLC also fosters a friendly environment where interns can interact with other students who share similar interests. The weekly meetings feature guest speakers, such as CAL alumni, Berkeley Law admissions officers, and local lawyers. Furthermore, the internship is a great opportunity for students to become acquainted with
the pre-law process.

Appointments
Schedule an appointment with our interns by visiting the office in 300A Eshleman or by sending us an email. The office is open Monday-Thursday from 10am-4pm and Friday from 10am-2pm.
Applications
