The Fourth Annual UC Berkeley Sociological Research Symposium
Friday, April 6, 2012

The Fourth Annual UC Berkeley Sociological Research Symposium also brought together more than a hundred students from multiple disciplines and universities to share research among a friendly community of scholars.

As a guiding framework for the conference, the year’s theme was “Identity, Ideology and Society: Connecting Patterns of Discourse.” Our keynote speaker will be UC Berkeley Assistant Professor Robb Willer.Registration and food are free, but presenter and attendee spots are limited. We are currently accepting presenter applications and attendee registration online. Please be sure to reserve your spot to participate!

To conclude, the Symposium celebrated its 4th birthday with desserts and celebration, where the Danesha McCoy Award was given to four outstanding Symposium undergraduate presenters for their contributions to the UC Berkeley academic community.
