Students Organizing for
Justice in the Americas

SOJA, Students Organizing for Justice in the Americas, is a multicultural, non-sectarian student group working for social justice. we struggle to organize, educate, and agitate about economic and social justice issues affecting us and the community at large.
as a group, soja does not espouse one particular ideology or methodology, recognizing that through cooperation and work, people from different backgrounds and differing viewpoints can struggle together to achieve our goal of a more just world.
we stand in solidarity with those struggling for equality and justice around the world while working locally with other uc-berkeley students and the greater bay area community as well. together we learn about organizing, student/community activism, and social justice issues.
