The Maverick's Contest happened today in Half Mooon Bay. Some of our members carpooled down there and we had a pretty good turn out to watch the big waves.

- Fall Meeting

Tomorrow night, Tuesday October 11th, we have a general meeting where everyone is invited. The meeting will be held at 151 Barrows and will start at 7pm. See you there!

After a long summer with very little surf, last weekend was full of surf. The winds are dying down and some swell is showing.
We are going to plan a california surf club dinner soon so we can all regroup and prepare to surf. We are all on different schedules, due to our mix of student and alumni membership. We need to get together, coordinate and hear what everyone else is up to.
Since I graduated, I have started a nonprofit called Future Leaders For Peace. Take a look at our website www.futureleadersforpeace.org .

I just installed a gallery where we can post pictures from our club events, or just things we want to share. To post a picture, let Chris or Mike know. We'll be able to get accouts out to more people soon.

Hello everyone. Michael left for Chile a few days ago and I go to Hawaii tomorrow, until mid February. I hope everyone is having a great vacation. Maybe we can organize another club dinner when I get back. Happy surfing wherever you are!
