Arrow Various Info Now Up...

2003/08/30

It's only been a couple of days since the release of our first single for r.o.r/s, but it looks like the news has already been posted on-line. Even I myself am shocked by it all (how fast the news got up, etc.).
Perhaps all of you think so, too.
As always, you'll have to excuse me.

However, my solo work is going along well!!
Things will start picking up pace beginning in November.

Arrow r.o.r/s Release

2003/08/27

At last, the "r.o.r/s" debut maxi single "Candy lie" is out for sale. Has everyone heard & seen it yet?
This time, not only the music, but also the visual aspects (the jacket photos & the PV) have lots of our strength in them.
Our singing unit is only for a short time, so I hope I'll be able to make a lot of good memories for the rest of my 10 anniversary.

Arrow At Length

2003/08/26

The 2003 Fan Gathering Tour for Official Fanclub MaBIC is now over.
Thankfully, everything ended without incident. Everyone who came showed lots of common sense, and though this is true all the time, I truly feel blessed by all of you and your support.
There was a small occurrence at Sapporo (involving a small fire), though, but......
In closing, to everyone who came and to all the staff members involved (the MaBIC staff and the bus company and travel agency workers), truly, thank you very much.

Arrow I Underwent This Thing

2003/08/21

...called a "head spa."
A head spa is where you wash away the dirt out of your scalp (the skin pores), and after that it's easy to restore nutrition to the scalp by massaging "nutritive elements" into it.
Lately, they say that women who are under too much stress will make too many "male hormones," so much so that they'll start growing facial hair. When that happens, the hair on the head will start to thin.
Since I've always had a lot of head hair ever since I was born, I usually don't worry if a few strands fall out here and there, but still, I want to keep my "Sightly Scalp".
Women who are worried about their hair should try it sometime.
...or, that's what the shop I went to seemed to say.
Truly, please take care of your bodies, everyone.

Anyways...
This very day, 10 years ago, I made my singing debut. It's a special day for me.
On August 21, 1993 I made my debut, and thanks to all of you, I've been able to continue singing to this day. I'll keep doing my best from here on out, too, so please continue your support. m(_ _)m

Arrow A New Solo Single

2003/08/19

...has completed pre-production at home.
I'm very pleased with it.
I can't touch upon the contents of the song yet, though...
Now on to writing lyrics...
Ah... I want to start recording soon...
Although I'm part of r.o.r/s & JAM, I think that writing lyrics and songs as a solo artist gives more freedom for "Individual Contemplation." Of course, I have 100% of my feelings behind all my projects, but this is extra.
I hope I can let all of you hear it very soon...

Arrow Cold Cold Cold!

2003/08/18

It felt unusually cold when I woke up this morning, not at all like summer...
I usually wake up already sweating, but today my skin was cool and dry...
The rain has just about let up, but right now it's still not exactly the picture of "blue skies and seas" that summer is supposed to be.
There have been energy shortage problems in Kantou lately, so this weather might help them; but it seems like there aren't many more clear, sunny days remaining this summer.

Arrow I've Taken a Liking for...

2003/08/13

...nail art, after trying it for the first time for r.o.r/s. (Chihii's probably never done it before, either)
Even when we were done, dear Yonekura Chihii kept changing the designs (length, too) and looked like she was having a lot of fun.
As for me... I trimmed my nails short to play the piano at the festival at Nagoya Castle, but right after that I repainted them. But then... after a couple of weeks, they've become so shabby that I'm too embarrassed to show them to other people. (T-T)

Today, I finally went to a beauty salon in Shibuya.
It was cold and raining even though it's summer, but they spruced up my nails! (refer to photo above)
I think I'll meet some friends later (*^-^*)

Arrow Hm... Writing Music is Tough Work

2003/08/13

It's always true to some extend, but the process of "composing music" seems especially difficult right now.
Hm... not just composing music in and of itself, but "composing music that one is satisfied with" is the difficult part, I suppose.
Even when I'm trying my best, nothing comes to me; but I can't really just sit around doing nothing, either...
But there are some songs you instantly like which came to you all of a sudden, too, aren't there... Oh, this is hard...

Arrow The Fukuoka Gathering Ended Safely

2003/08/10

First off, a round of Great job's and Thank you's are in order!
I reached Fukuoka yesterday. I reserved a seat on the very first plane out on the 9th, but due to the typhoon, there were once again widespread delays and flight cancellations, and although I stayed with the flying idea 'til the very last moment, I had a really bad feeling about it and ended up going on the Shinkansen (bullet train) instead.
But! It turns out I was right... Just like I had feared, my flight was cancelled... Thank goodness I changed my plans....

So, we had terrific weather for our Fukuoka gathering today, and we went to a very tiny amusement park(?), then ate a delicious lunch at a wonderful restauraunt by the ocean. Unfortunately, though, my feet started to hurt from all the walking...
My footwear was just a little too heavy. (ToT)/
For the final trip to Kobe & Osaka, I'll be extra-sure to wear sneakers!!

Arrow The Typhoon

2003/08/08

...is certainly showing its might. To all of you, please be careful in your part of Japan.
I was originally trying to reach Fukuoka as quickly as possible for the "MaBIC Get-Together" in Fukuoka the day after tomorrow, but with my means of transportation in a "(T-T)" sort of state, I'm still not sure what I'm going to do.

Changing the subject...
Starting at 11 PM tonight, I'll be appearing as a guest with JAM Project on "Saikou! Boogie Woogie Night." My mother's been rushing around trying to get the VCR ready... By all means, check it out.

Appended :
Looking at the TV recording...
Wow... when we were actually on the show, it seemed really frantic, but I can see now how it turned out.
I wonder how Matsumoto Rica-chan and I did on our song...??
In any case, Mizuki Ichirou-aniki was so amazing...

Arrow Yaa~~~~~y!! "r.o.r/s" Page Opens

2003/08/05

The "r.o.r/s" page opened today on the KING RECORD: Starchild Label website today. With the opening, we finally get to show everyone the jacket photos and the so-called "Picture 'A'" that we'll be using in advertisements. More things will be gradually added to the site, so please check it often. I'm also being allowed to announce more details as they come, so when we have information about press coverage and so forth, I'll be sure to tell you more about it here at makusonia.

Arrow JAM Project Rec. Today

2003/08/04

I just got back home, and now I'm doing my "writing assignment." The Nagoya trip has ended, I went to the voice actress Mizuki Nana-chan's concert yesterday, and today I recorded another new song for JAM's best album, "FREEDOM."
The two tracks we recorded the other day were both pretty slow songs, but the one today seemed a bit more energizing.
I'm reminded of certain scenes at the concert......

For some reason, Kitadani Hiroshi-san's not in this photo... (@o@)

Arrow Hot Nagoya Summer!

2003/08/02

We held the recording of "Okui Masami Kiss Cube" yesterday at Nagoya Castle. Our recording was the first of several going on from 8/1-8/3! This is the 2nd recording of mine this year, but wow! "More and more people are coming out to visit, aren't they?" one of the staff members told me enthusiastically. I was also able to perform a few songs live, and I got through a truly hot summer night. Thanks to all of you who came!
I hope I can do this again next year.

So, the "MaBIC Get-Together" in Nagoya started today at noon. We rented a bus for the Sapporo and Tokyo trips, too; but for Nagoya, since I had to go to the Nagoya Castle afterwards and then record my guest session with Yonekura Chihiro-chan on the 2nd, we ended up also booking a restaurant for the Nagoya trip. It was a short gathering, but since we had a lot of activities packed together, and I got to get really close to the fans (besides, our special guest was Ishida Youko-chan), I think we got to make it a really "at-home" time of get-together.
After the get-together, I made a guest appearance on Yonekura-san's radio show! We also got to go on stage together for the first time as a "two-shot." We didn't sing anything r.o.r/s-related, but we did sing Yonekura-san's "Arashi no Naka de Kagayaite" together, and perhaps gave everyone a taste of what r.o.r/s is going to be like. This time, we wore our summer kimono, but next time, we'll come out in r.o.r/s-style!!
In short, it's been an eventful two days.
