Arrow Right Now on Anican...

2005/01/29

There's an interview published on the front cover of the latest edition of 'Anican', which can be found in many stores like Animate.
We talk about a lot of things!
If you have the chance, do get it and read it (from front to back?).
The release of the album 'Dragonfly" is coming soon! I'm feeling plenty of love and fighting spirit at this point.

Arrow Today I Met With Many People

2005/01/25

...at a cafe that Lantis booked for its New Year's Party. There were many incredible singers and voice actor artists who came.
I had the privilege to join in on the festivities, too.
There were so many people, people, people all over the place, that I managed to talk to only a few of them before leaving for home...
Shintani Ryouko-chan, Chiba Saeko-chan, Nakahara Mai-chan, Shimizu Ai-chan... well, I was able to talk to them for a while, and also Kuribayashi Minami-chan and *mgrck.
After that, there were the usual faces (En-chan, Fuku-chan).
The food was really delicious...
The first two people to fly over to the cake table was Fuku-chan and I... Fuku-chan! You seem like you're still growing... the same for me, too....

Arrow Today, Auditions....

2005/01/19

The auditions that were brought forth from the launch of 'O-live'.
Today, we did the initial screening. We listened to everyone's songs.
We also looked at their photographs, and looked at their backgrounds through their resumes.
I won't write the details here, but I'll be giving more information through radio, CD-Data, and television.
Get ready for secondary screenings, and... GO!!

It was a short window of time, but despite that we received many applications.
Thank you very much. m(_ _)m

Arrow From the 12th, 4 Nights & 6 Days

2005/01/17

I went to Hawaii. The new album hasn't even been released yet, but somehow I'm shooting the PV for the next single already. Things are under wraps, so details will be... forthcoming...
In any case, it was a Hard Schedule. (T-T)
On the day we arrived, I bought some summer clothes, and the next day we did some liiiight shooting. The day after, we began more intense filming. On our last day there, though, I finally got some time for myself, I think. Such was our schedule. But you know, I believe we were able to make a good video.

Well, however... First, please go buy 'Dragonfly'!

Arrow First Work for JAM Today

2005/01/08

I took a break from my solo stuff and joined in on JAM's first work of the new year.
We all sang together.
The details... I'll tell you after I get back home.

Oh, yes.
For those of you whose messages were read on radio show 'O-live', you'll receive a gift of a cell phone cleaner, but they're currently still being made. I'm sure all of you have been worrying about what you should do and noticing that it's past the date we said we'd get it to you by... (T=T) and having it on your mind.
Please wait just a little longer.
About the radio audition entries we've received, the deadline for submission was the end of last year, so now in my spare moments during work, I'm desperately trying to listen to all the tapes.
In any case, thank you for all of your entries.

Arrow First Work of Year 2005

2005/01/05

Today was my first day of work for year 2005. (I've been writing songs at home, but I put that aside for now.) It was mastering for 'S-mode #3', to be released on 2/23.
This is a release from King Records.
With this, the 'S-mode Series' is complete.
I was surprised by how many songs had tie-ins to anime series.
In the releases from last half of these past 11-12 years, the music style has slowly changed, hasn't it.
I feel like I'm reflecting on myself face-to-face... or something like that? I think it's an interesting album.
The promised self-cover of a self-composed song for this album is the song 'TRANSMIGRATION' (for which I wrote the lyrics), which was originally written for Mizuki Nana-chan.

Incidentally --
Tomorrow I'll be doing mastering for my new album 'Dragonfly', to be released on 2/2. I'm pretty satisfied with the music style of this album. There are no tie-ins to any anime series, but I think we were able to develop the musical character well. I was able to express the feelings of the current 'me'. Both works reach for a climax.

Present and past. I've been including the concept of time and the passing of time in my song lyrics, but it appears that fears about the situation of the world don't wane.... But even so, I want to go on in search of enjoyable accomplishments. That is what I think.

At my concerts, I hope I'll be able to bring you good things from these two works.....

Arrow It Seems Some Haven't Seen It Yet...

2005/01/04

...but have you seen, at the top of makusonia's main page, the message brimming with love by the Okui household?????? If some of you haven't seen it yet, then go and check it out!

Oh, by the way...
The terrific message for MaBIC members only was harder to find.... Were you able to see it?????

Arrow Oh no, Lazy New Year's...

2005/01/03

I've been deeply involved in concerts lately, but you could actually also say that I'm deeply involved in DVDs right now, too...
I acquired a big TV and BOSS sound system, so I'm watching a lot of DVDs. Harry Potter, Spiderman, and so on.
I've been watching them non-stop.
Including, of course, a BON JOVI live concert, too!!
Does anyone have an Aerosmith concert DVD, by any chance???
I can't seem to find one... I suppose it's not out for sale...

Arrow Deep in the Concert Scene

2005/01/02

Today was Mizuki Nana-chan's Budoukan concert!!
My... it was a lively stage performance! Since it was set at the Budoukan, the lighting and the sets were incredibly lavish.
I was also able to observe from behind the scenes, and seeing Nana-chan's -- how would you say it? Seeing how deeply moved she was, and the feeling I got from her staff, I couldn't help but feel the same thing, too.
It made me even me tear up a little.
I hope they'll continue to knock it out of the park in 2005...
Nana-chan, good work!

Arrow Happy New Year

2005/01/01

The year 2004 was to me a fairly intense year, I think. With all of your support, we were able to release our first single on 'evolution' and, somehow, get into the new year! Thank you very much.
There are still many challenges to face, and I'm sure there will be some mistakes and strange events along the way, but... we'll do our best.

Well then, starting from the 31st, I went to an international forum and went to watch Nogawa Sakura-chan's Countdown Live. And so, I spent New Year's with Kageyama-san, En-chan, and everyone from Lantis.
