makusonia.com notes : This is Okui Masami. I've always loved many different genres of music, so I made an album that could be contrasted to 'crossroad.' 'Crossroad' had a simple and straightforward sound, but since I love building up layers of chorus in a song, I thought I'd liberally apply chorus back-up to the songs in this album and produce in them a very winter-like sound. This album might be very feminine, I suppose. The songs all portray stories of winter, not only Christmas. Some of the tracks are also about the concept of 'life.' In 'Sanctuary,' the first chorus features boyish lyrics and the second chorus girlish lyrics, so could it be seen as a duet...? In any case, I hope this album will warm your heart. You can listen to it in an empty room, or with a significant someone, or with your family. Please cherish these songs.
