Purpose and Goals
As a cultural club, our purpose and goals are:
1. To unite people who are interested in Thailand, Thai culture, Thai foods, and other Thai-related events.
2. To inform and educate both members and non-members about the cultural, economic, and political aspects of Thailand
3. To participate in community services and in fundraising activities that help both the communities around the Bay Area and in Thailand.
4. To help and support students from Thailand in their transition from Thailand to Berkeley and America.
5. To establish connections between ThaiSA and other cultural clubs, intra- and inter- collegiately.
6. To establish a network with other Thai student groups or Thai associations in America.
7. To maintain a network between current Thai students and alumni.
