3.8 Tipping The required percentage of the bill is fifteen. Normally, for a quick estimate, one can simply double the amount taxed and add this amount to the total. On some occasions when the service is below par in the restaurants, especially the Chinese restaurants, tipping is still required. However, tipping is not necessary when ordering take-away/to-go food.
