October 4: Spoken Word ft. Matthew Yagyagan and Brian Adrias
[Spoken Word artists Matthew Yagyagan and Brian Adrias will share the techniques of the art of Spoken Word and will facilitate a workshop on how to create your own Spoken Word piece]
October 11: Contemporary Dance ft. Christine Liao
[I will gather some sort of a poll on what kind of dances people want to learn (i.e. ballroom, hip hop, jazz, tap) and Christine will teach it]
October 18: Hip Hop ft. Kenneth Ronquillo
[A beginner-friendly hip hop course]
October 25: Sketch Comedy ft. Yue Tu
November 1: Discussion: Asian Americans in the Media ft. Irene Van
[A discussion on Asian Americans in the Media facilitated by Irene Van. There will be questions posed, I will act as moderator, and the discussions will follow]
November 8: Acting ft. Leon Goertzen
[If Leon isn't able to come, I'll facilitate a workshop on creating and performing monologues]
November 15: Improv ft. Chris Dong
[Improv, taught by Chris Dong of San Francisco's HoboFish Improv!]
November 22: Massage Workshop ft. Jacek Wnuk
[The technique and art of massage therapy]
November 29: Open Mic/Arts Showcase/Last Workshop Party
[If people have pieces of art they want to showcase, or a Spoken Word/monologue piece they'd like to perform, or a short story, a dance, any type of art, this is the day we'll get together and showcase our pieces. It will also be a celebratory "yay successful workshops" type thing]
