Committees
As a member you can suggest and organize events through our various committees. Contact us if you have questions or would like to join a committee. Generally, the committees meet every other week — meeting times are shown on our Events Calendar page.
Academic Affairs
The AA committee is responsible for putting on events related to your courses here at Cal and beyond. We have Telebears advising nights to help pick classes, public lectures from prize-winning faculty, GSI panels regarding graduate school, and many other academic-related events.
Professional Affairs
The PA committee aims to help UEA members prepare for their careers through resume workshops, mock interviews, career info sessions, and any other events that will help members land the perfect internship and secure a job straight out of undergrad.
Social
The Social Committee is responsible for increasing cohesion, unison, and bonding between UEA members so that students of all backgrounds and majors can find a common ground in the club. Events include bowling nights and grabbing ice cream, among others.
