Earth Day/Cal Day
The weekend is here, and I don't have much to report. Today is Cal Day, which means that hundreds of visitors are clogging campus and the surrounding areas-- it took me ten minutes to walk down three blocks of Telegraph.

I'm considering a quick trip to Washington, D.C. to see family in May... 5/20 to 5/24.

No huge stress until finals-- thesis proposal is underway, and I've got to find a paper topic for Spanish, a class that I skipped on Monday AND Friday this week, ick.

Looking forward to summer, but I definitely love me some Berkeley in springtime.

Environmental Research in Texas? I kid you not.
I've yet to announce here that I was accepted for a summer environmental research assistantship in in Austin, Texas! I'll be there from June 4th-August 12th. In case anyone is interested, the program info is here and a program calendar here. I got the list of other participants today... let the facebook stalkin' begin?

    Balance.
    The good:
  • Sunny day today, finally.... and it's almost Friday!
  • Got a pretty damn good grade on the ERG midterm... even though its just a C+ without the curve, it's well above average :)
  • I found out that I make $15/hr. in the soils lab!
  • Syriana for $3 tomorrow night!
  • Summer plans are finalized!
  • Tom DeLay is finished!
    		• The bad:
  • Bio midterm tomorrow. Ick.
  • Soil sampling tomorrow afternoon... possibly in the rain.
  • ES Proposal due 4/18 with 15 fucking sources.
