What may help you figure this out (aside from Grimbal's astute observation), is to break it apart.
Instead of asking what is greater than God, AND more evil than the devil, AND poor people have it....etc...
Ask the following:
1) What is greater than God? __________
2) What is more evil than the Devil? _________
3) What do poor people have? _______
etc.
I'm pretty sure THAT is why the Stanford grads have trouble with it, and the kindergarden kids don't.

however, the rich don't always want for nothing, the poor often have something, and the dichotomy of god vs devil precludes the existence of the christian depiction of god. maybe that is why educated people have a tough time answering this?

You know, there's no proof that -any- research has been done yielding results like 80%/17%. And there's no proof that Harvey had anything to do with it, either. It's made up hogey nonsense to give old people a reason to coo at the young and scorn the educated. ^~;
