In an apartment complex in New York...

In an apartment complex in New York there are one hundred married couples. When one of the husbands cheats on his wife with one of the other wives, his wife has no idea. With the large amount of gossip in the complex, all of the other wives know he is cheating. If a wife finds out that her husband is cheating on her, she kills him the following morning. Someone anonymously sends an email to all of the wives in the building saying that at least 1 man is cheating on his wife in the building.
How many husbands will be killed and how long will it take?

Cheating husbands, jealous wives and emails are causing lot of confusion. Our good old red-eyed and brown-eyed friends were much simpler..weren't they?

Which probably explains why they are over in Medium
So: if there's only one cheating husband, his wife, realising that no other husbands are cheating, kills him in the morning.
If there are two cheating husbands, both wives think smugly that they know who the cheater is, and nothing happens the first morning. Neither woman expects the other to murder the other's husband, so nothing happens on any following morning either.
The other interesting case comes when all the husbands in the building were faithful, and got killed by their jealous wives on the first morning.
Or, of course, the wives don't pay any attention to the anonymous email, and nothing happens.
