How do u solve the paper cutting riddle in the medium section of riddles? please explain but do not explain with vertices because i dont know what they are.

I find it hard to imagine how one could urgently need the answer to this puzzle; but on the off chance your life is hanging in the balance:
[hide]Make a zigzag cut. Diagonal across one square, then along the sides two squares, repeat.[/hide]
