| No, I'd say a lie very definitely does relate to reality: it opposes reality in some way. A lie is intended to deceive someone by misrepresenting reality; you can't lie without knowing (or at least caring about) the truth. If a statement doesn't relate to reality (or rather does not acknowledge that it matters *), it's either fantasy or bullsh*t (depending on the purpose), or possibly lacking any sense altogether: flurblegurgle! (Tragically, that doesn't actually lack all sense, thanks to the context..) *) Even in the most reality-ignoring stories/statements, typically some rules of reality are followed; be it causality or actors etc. Otherwise it wouldn't have any meaning for those that utter it or hear it.

Croatia. Btw, I used to live in Woodford Green, a part of the North East London suburb of Woodford. When I arrived with my parents to the above suburb, I had nine months. It is a long shot, but if Shelly and Tamsyn are, perhaps, members on this forum, this is hello from your young friend you used to play with. I left when I was five, so I don't remember much about Woodford Green.

Fyshwick. (not that I live here) Whilst that means not much to most, to Aussies of a certain age (ie maybe greater than 16) it means a WHOLE lot. It's the suburb of the Australian Capital Territory that houses all the *ahem* entertainment venues *ahem* that politicians might frequent on their long stints away from home. From my office, I can see Adult World and Hello Sexy, The Spice of Life etc... It's alos where (until recently) one of the few places in Aus where one could buy fireworks over the counter.

| It's a nice suburb as I've heard... Yes it means a lot to those of us who know about it.

Quite fine, thanks for asking. I've moved, started college in a place where I still can't go online... I'm balancing between being grateful that I have time for serious work instead, and having serious webstinence crisis. Serious either way What about you, towr? I see people have started to worship you around here... opening fan clubs and everything

I finished my master's degree last year, and started on a bachelor in philosophy which I hope to finish this year (I did a lot of philosophy in previous years that count toward it). After that I fear I'm going to have to at last consider finding a way to be useful to society (in the sense of having a taxable income). Aside from that everything is eerily the same as it has been for years.
