Thanks, I wasn't aware of chesslodge.com before. It has some very useful annotations, and not too heavy either.

There are also many unusual chess problems on this site, eg. this (http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wwu/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=riddles_easy;action=display;num=1199142831;) one.

Search for 'Chess' in Easy and Medium (for the Subject only); last 2365 days and 250 hits.

For informed discussions of computer chess I recommend the Rybka forum (http://rybkaforum.net/cgi-bin/rybkaforum/forum_show.pl), much better than the spammy Usenet forum somebody recently mentioned in another thread.

Yeah, that's a good forum. I like it.

I used to play Online at www.letsplaychess.com

I had to stop chess because I spent too much time studying chess theory and playing and less time on my studies ... my grades in math suffered.
