Title: Processing Language?
Post by JaneBD on Aug 7th, 2014, 4:31am
Is Processing Language worth learning?

I already know: Java, Javascript, C, C++, C#, Python, Visual Basics, Pearl, Ruby ... Obviously don't know everything about them, cause there's so much haha. But I can write programs ect. in them.

So is Processing worth my time or not. Kinda just bored and wondering what other languages to learn.

Does anyone have any better recommendations, rather than Processing Lang?

I'd never heard of Processing. On a quick glance it doesn't seem to be very useful unless you want to make art.

If you want to learn another new an interesting programming language, try Prolog. It's unlike any of the ones you've mentioned and requires a different kind of thinking (it's logical programming). You could also try Lisp/Scheme or Haskell (functional programming).
