Does anyone know the answer to this riddle I have been racking my brains for weeks and can't figure it out. There are three words in the English language that end in "gry". ONE is angry and the other is hungry. EveryONE knows what the third ONE means and what it stands for. EveryONE uses them everyday, and if you listened very carefully, I've given you the third word. What is it? Help please my sanity depends on it

You've mis-stated the problem slightly... "Angry" and "hungry" are two words that end in "gry". There are three words in the English language. What is the third word? Everyone knows what it means and everyone uses it every day. Look closely and I have already given you the third word. What is it? The highlighted sentence shouldn't have 'that end in "gry"' added to it, or you'll never get an answer...! If you're still stuck, highlight below... There are three words in "THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE" So the answer is "language" Hope this helps

This is one of the most popular dupli-posts. You will find many threads on this riddle. Just don't go posting and riddles asking, "What is interesting about this paragraph?"
